Texas Science and Engineering Festival, is having their 2nd annual festival in Austin Tx.

November 5-6 2011 at 10am thru 5pm FREE

Come explore the wonders of science with FREE activities for the whole family featuring a wide variety of events including hands-on demonstrations, free giveaways, live entertainment and much more! 

The two-day EXPO will feature more than 100 fun and interactive activities to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. Here are a couple of exhibits Science in the Movies, The Robot Group, Girl Start and more.

• Experience a solar-powered bicycle
• Explore the science behind movie stunts and special effects
• Try out paper airplanes in wind tunnels
• Check out a student-built solar power car
• Build motorized LEGO machines and robots
• Enter a Discovery Dome Mobile Planetarium
• Create your own rock core sample
• Build a sky scrapper
• Discovering what a real Investigator would do by using the technology of fingerprinting, paper chromatography and more!

This will he held at the Austin Convention Center
